Join us as we recap Ultralytics' impactful presence at 4YFN 2024! From showcasing our latest innovations to engaging with industry leaders, discover how we're driving AI innovation forward.
Ultralytics values being part of the AI community and staying current on the latest trends and discoveries in the field. Each year, we attend events to connect with our community. We also use this opportunity to share updates on our Ultralytics YOLO models and SaaS tool, Ultralytics HUB.
Additionally, we take the time to learn about new developments in the field. The first of the series is the 4 Years from Now (4YFN) event powered by the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
This conference sees numerous sponsors among which Caixa Bank Day One, Crescenta, EY, and AWS Startups. With attendees coming from all over the world to share ideas on a common goal: technological innovation.
This plays a role when looking at the exhibitors too. The tech world, from startups to multinationals like Huawei, Qualcomm, or Amazon, showcased its technological prowess!
Tailored mainly for startups, 4YFN also marked its 10th anniversary, reinforcing its position as a globally recognized platform that unites technology, startups, investors, corporations, and public institutions.
From February 26th - 29th, the Ultralytics team went to the 4YFN conference in Barcelona to showcase their work. Over four days, Paula Derrenger, Head of Growth, and Glenn Jocher, Founder and CEO, represented Ultralytics at the forefront of AI innovation.
At the Ultralytics' startup Pod, we were serving as a hub for interaction and networking. We displayed our Ultralytics HUB app, which let people connect with our team and try out Ultralytics YOLOv8 and experience firsthand the app's easy-to-use interface.
The conference provided a fertile ground for fostering new connections while highlighting Ultralytics' commitment to innovation and partnership. It also allowed us to engage with our community. It was lovely to meet with Asier Arranz in Robotics & Embedded AI at NVIDIA as well as Carlos Santana from DotCSV. Overall it was truly heartwarming to see the enthusiasm of our followers and get to interact with them answering questions.
In a bustling environment, our team witnessed groundbreaking inventions. Among these were Lenovo's AI devices and software, including the Lenovo ThinBook Transparent Display Laptop. This device, featuring a 17.3-inch Micro-LED transparent display, generated significant excitement. Its borderless screen, transparent keyboard area, and unique floating footpad design offered a peek into the potential future of technology for all.
Other examples of thought-provoking new technologies presented at the fair include Motorola’s Rollable Concept phone and Xiaomi.
Another key highlight was when Glenn Jocher got up on stage to give a pitch. His speech caught the interest of industry leaders strengthening our position within the AI community. His engaging talk sparked new discussions, paving the way for new ideas.
As the conference came to a close, our team left Barcelona with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the future. The event provided valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations in AI while fostering meaningful connections that will shape Ultralytics' trajectory in the industry.
Looking back, the 4YFN conference proved to be a positive experience for Ultralytics, underscoring our commitment to driving AI innovation forward. We are excited to build upon the momentum gained at 4YFN and continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the dynamic world of technology and innovation.
