They also have real-time Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Adaptive Audio that automatically adjusts to your environment for the best sound.

Here’s a look at some of the other features:

  • Clearer calls with AI: Voice Isolation uses AI to filter out background noise, ensuring your voice is crisp and clear, even in noisy environments.
  • Gesture controls: For a seamless hands-free experience, interact with Siri using simple head gestures, such as nodding for "yes" or shaking your head for "no."
  • Improved comfort: They have been redesigned using 3D modeling technology for a more comfortable fit that suits a wider range of ear shapes.
  • Eco-friendly packaging: The new packaging uses 100% fiber-based materials and is 30% smaller, aligning with Apple’s goal to be carbon neutral by 2030.

AirPods 4 can also be pre-ordered and will be available on September 20.

Alongside the new AirPods 4, Apple has updated both the AirPods Max and AirPods Pro 2. The AirPods Max now features USB-C charging and comes in new colors such as Midnight, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Starlight. These over-ear headphones offer excellent sound quality with advanced Active Noise Cancellation and Personalized Spatial Audio.

The AirPods Pro 2 have received significant health-focused updates. A new Hearing Test feature lets users check their hearing health with their iPhone and AirPods Pro. For those with hearing loss, a Hearing Aid feature will soon be available, designed to enhance speech and environmental sounds.
